About me

I have mainly been writing about jewellery and a little something here and there about other things. Never really gave you an introduction to who I am, so I figured I'd do that now! Some facts about me...

• Soon the mum of 1, but I still don't know if it's a boy or a girl.
  
  
• I want to learn so many things. Much more regarding silver- and goldsmithing, plus knitting, pottery, photography to name a few things. I could go on and on...
  
  
• I used to hate cooking. Quite enjoy it now, maybe has something to do with growing up, who knows?
  
  
• I'm afraid of heights, and also of being under water. Battling these fears as well as I can though, as I'm better off not being limited by these things. Snorkling is fun!
  
  
• I enjoy learning languages. Had French, Spanish and Italian in school, next to English.
  After that I did 1 year of Mandarin at uni. (Unfortunately I've lost most of this knowledge as I never use any of these languages. My plan is to pick up at least French and Spanish again)
  Moving to the Netherlands made me learn Dutch. Before that I could somewhat understand German, but now that I'm focusing so much on the Dutch, I've lost that.
  I've had Norwegian colleagues, so I understand Norwegian pretty well too. However, I think they'd laugh at me if I tried speaking, so I'm not taking it that far ;)
  
  
• I really like living here in the Netherlands, but I miss my family a lot. Even after 3,5 years. Yes, really!
  
  
• I can be very stubborn, which probably is a good thing, in many cases!
  
  That was quite a bit of information about me... Next post may be more jewellery orientated, not to lose the balance too much here ;) We'll see. I'll write more soon!
